Understanding system configuration in biGENIUS

With some exceptions, every generator requires 1 System Configuration for 1 target Technology.

When creating a new biGENIUS project, depending on the generator(s) installed, you can choose between several system configurations.

Existing System Configurations

• Runtime Config
• Operational Data Store
• Data Warehouse
• Data Vault
• Data Mart
• Testing

Each configuration includes different combinations of date warehouse components depending on the needs of your organization, as demonstrated in the following chart:
