Launching biGENIUS-X and beyond

Our primary focus of 2023 has been on the development of the new cloud solution - biGENIUS-X. Following the successful launch event in June, we also made significant strides in expanding our customer base and improving our overall user experience. Throughout the year, we have participated in industry events and conferences, such as the TDWI Munich, allowing us to establish valuable connections and gather essential feedback from our clients. This has led to a series of product updates and enhancements - releasing various new features such as relationship modeling and term-based data lineage, ensuring that biGENIUS-X remains at the forefront of data analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Strengthening our team and partnerships

In October, Gerald Klump joined the biGENIUS executive team as the new CEO, bringing a wealth of industry expertise accumulated over an impressive career spanning more than 25 years in leadership roles. His experience and vision will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of our company.

Furthermore, we established a new partnership with Swiss AI & Data company, Visium. This collaboration further expands our network of like-minded collaborators, enabling us to work closely with other industry leaders and innovators. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of data-driven solutions.

Product development

Of all the updates we have made to biGENIUS-X throughout the year, one of the most notable update was the release of the new Apache Spark generator in Q4, along with even more improvements made to the functionality and usability of biGENIUS-X, such as the Advanced Settings where users can configure default terms, naming conventions etc., providing more tools and flexibility for our users to optimize their analytical data processes. We hosted a technical update webinar in November, where we provided an overview and a transparent outlook into the future of biGENIUS-X, as well as demonstrating all the new features we released since the launch of the application in June.

Looking onward to 2024

As we reflect on our achievements in 2023, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our team, partners, and clients who have contributed to our growth and success.  Looking forward to 2024, we are excited to continue our commitment to innovation and growth. Our application and generator roadmaps include even more advanced features and integrations aimed at further streamlining data engineering processes for our users.

In addition to our ongoing focus on improving our cloud solution - biGENIUS-X and desktop solution - biGENIUS-7, we will also be exploring opportunities for strategic collaborations and partnerships to expand our ecosystem. This will enable us to better serve our clients by providing comprehensive solutions tailored to their unique needs. With a strong foundation in place, we are confident that the coming year will be full of milestones and achievements that will reinforce biGENIUS' position as a leader in the data analytics and business intelligence space.
