Gerald Klump is the new CEO of biGENIUS  

Pratteln/Switzerland, October 2, 2023 - biGENIUS appoints industry expert Gerald Klump as its new Chief Executive Officer. The startup also secures new funding resulting from the promising release of its cloud solution biGENIUS-X.

biGENIUS, a leading provider of analytical data automation solutions, gains Gerald Klump (*1970) as its new CEO. Klump is a recognized industry expert and most recently played a key role in shaping Accenture DACH's Data& AI business as Managing Director. Prior to that, he was Co-CEO of the IT service provider Trivadis.

With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Klump brings not only extensive expertise but also a strategic perspective on data-driven technologies and business models.

Commenting on his new role, Gerald Klump said, "I look forward to further expanding biGENIUS' market presence in the area of data warehouse automation and helping customers use their data more effectively."

Gerald Klump takes over the function as CEO as of October 2 from Gregor Zeiler, who has successfully driven the development of biGENIUS over many years. Gregor Zeiler will remain with the company as a strategic advisor. 

New financing based on a new cloud product

In addition to the appointment of Gerald Klump as CEO, biGENIUS reaches another milestone with a new financing of 2 million euros. The funding follows the release of the new cloud solution biGENIUS-X in June this year, which has yielded promising results.

biGENIUS-X is a new cloud-based solution for automating the data warehouse lifecycle, developed independently of the established Windows application biGENIUS 7.

"As a new product, we can design biGENIUS-X to effectively adapt to the ever-changing data landscape. We have developed a solution geared toward data engineers, with innovative features to help data teams manage the increasing volume and complexity of data," said Thomas Gassmann, Chief Technology Officer of biGENIUS.

biGENIUS, einführender Anbieter von analytischen Datenautomatisierungslösungen, gewinntGerald Klump (*1970) als neuen CEO. Klump ist ein anerkannter Branchenexperte und hat zuletzt als Managing Director das Data & AI Geschäft von Accenture DACH massgeblich mitgeprägt. Davor war er Co-CEO des IT-Dienstleisters Trivadis.

Neue Finanzierung auf Basis eines neuen Cloud-Produkts

Neben derErnennung von Gerald Klump als CEO erreicht biGENIUS mit einer neuenFinanzierung in Höhe von 2 Millionen Euro einen weiteren Meilenstein. DieFinanzierung folgt auf die Veröffentlichung der neuen Cloud-Lösung biGENIUS-Xim Juni dieses Jahres, die vielversprechende Ergebnisse gebracht hat.

biGENIUS-X ist eine neue cloudbasierte analytische Datenautomatisierungslösung, die unabhängig von der etablierten Windows-Anwendung biGENIUS 7 entwickelt wurde.
